Infront establishes Infront News Finland

Infront is expanding with the establishment of a news agency in Finland. The Finnish agency will complement the company’s existing news services in Sweden (Direkt News) and in Norway (Infront TDN Direkt), all gathered under the name Infront News. Together with its sister agencies, Infront News Finland will contribute to providing Infront’s users with the best possible input for their business decisions.

”The market for financial information and how that information is used by industry professionals are constantly changing. Our news services reflect the current user behavior and the indisputable need for a professional financial news provider in the market. The objective reporting done by financial news agencies clearly differs from other information that floods the markets today, and provides a tangible value for users,” commented Lars Östlund, manager of Infront News.

Infront News Finland will be based in Helsinki and will be launched during the spring. The newsroom will include a studio for video/audio, as at the Swedish and Norwegian agencies, building on the video and studio capabilities first established in 2005. The library of video productions can be seen on Direkt Studio’s YouTube channel, the fastest growing finance channel in Sweden.

Infront News Finland will be accessible via Infront’s platforms, primarily the Infront Professional Terminal which is one of the European financial markets’ most used terminals.
